the Commonwealth Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act) to:

The decision for this request is currently due on 26 August 2024. This
timeframe may be extended, for example, where the Department decides to
consult with third parties. We will inform you if this occurs.
Removal of certain information from the scope of your request
The Department is seeking your agreement to remove the following
information from the scope of your request where it is not available from
public sources:
o group email addresses used for internal departmental purposes;
o all personal information of members of the public;
o all personal information of non-Senior Executive Service (SES)
government staff; and
o all personal information of SES level government staff with the
exception of the names of the Department’s SES staff.
If you agree to the above amendment the names of the Department’s SES
staff will be released where they are present in the documents and do not
attract an exemption.
Could you please respond to this email by Monday 12 August 2024 to confirm
your agreement to this change.
Notification of part transfer to the National Disability Insurance Agency
(NDIA)
The part of the subject matter of your request more closely relates to the
functions of the NDIA and they have agreed to accept a part transfer of

I confirm on 7 August 2024, you were notified that part of your request

National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
Scope of your request
The transferred request for documents is as follows:

Processing timeframes
A 30-day statutory period for processing your request commenced from 27
July 2024, in accordance with section 15(5)(b) of the FOI Act. Therefore,
the due date for a decision on access is 26 August 2024. However, I advise
that I have only been recently allocated your matter and so it is unlikely
that I will meet this timeframe. I apologise for this and request for your
agreement to a 30-day extension of time under section 15AA of the FOI Act.
If you agree to this extension, the new due date for us to make a decision
on your request will be 25 September 2024.
This period may be extended if we need to consult with third parties or
for other reasons. We will advise you if this happens.
Irrelevant information
Section 22 of the FOI Act permits us to provide FOI applicants with access
