Dear Australian National Maritime Museum,

This is a Freedom of Information Request for the purposes of the Freedom of Information Act 1982.

I request access to the Style Guides/Brand Guides/Writing Guides currently used for the Australian National Maritime Museum,

Given the upcoming holiday period for the APS (happy holidays to you reading this), I forecast my consent for any required 30 day extension to deal with the request at this time.

Yours faithfully,

Glenn Hamiltonshire

Freedom of Information,

Dear Mr Hamiltonshire

The Australian National Maritime Museum has received your Freedom of
Information request, emailed to the Museum on Tuesday 10 December 2024.
Please be advised that the 30-day statutory period for processing your
request commenced from the business day after that date ( 11 December
2024). You should therefore expect a decision from us by 11 January 2025.

The period of 30 days may be extended if we need to consult third parties,
impose a charge, or for other reasons. Thank you for your consideration in
noting the upcoming holiday period and providing consent to an extension
of time. The Museum will shut down back of house activities from 25^th
December 2024 until 2 January 2025. This shut down period and staff
absences may affect the processing of your application.  We will advise
you if this happens.

You will be notified of any charges in relation to your request as soon as
possible, before we process any requested documents or impose a final
charge.

Please note that information released under the FOI Act may later be
published on our disclosure log on our website at
[1]https://www.sea.museum/about/corporate-i...,
 subject to certain exceptions.

We will contact you at the email address you have provided in your email
below. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me,
either via the FOI email address.

Kind regards

Susan
