Request copy of orinigal transfer document for sale of my car
Dear VicRoads,
Due to some mistakes on my (seller)behalf & dishonest actions of the buyer of a vehicle i sold things are very messy at my end. In all things that have happened over the past 2yrs it hss resulted in the way of
1. I currentlt have lost my licence for 3 months
2. Recieved fines in my name from a car i sold 2yrs prior in excess of $24,000.
I need to find out the full details of the person that brought the car from me so i can nominate that person for their fines.
After speaking with police they managed to track down the car i sold & get the person responsible not only to transfer it into their name but also back date when car was sold.
Please assist in this matter as i work in the transport industry & this has turned my life upside down.
Yours faithfully,
Simon Demarco
Dear Mr Demarco,
I refer to your request for information below and advise that the Freedom of Information Act 1982 requires all applicants to pay an application fee of $28.40 (cheque or money order), however this may be waived or reduced if the payment would cause financial hardship to the applicant. Evidence in support of a claim of hardship would include a copy of a Pension Card or Health Care Card. This can be mailed or emailed through to my office.
Your request will be processed upon receipt of application fee.
Please find attached a copy of the FOI application form for you to complete.
Regards
VicRoads Freedom of Information Department
