Freedom of Information Request No. 21-1415

 

I refer to your correspondence received by the Department on 19 February
2015 seeking access under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (the FOI
Act), as follows:

 

‘I wish to obtain emails and relevant attachments between Sarah Henderson
MP and the Department of Communications detailing the expected rollout
localities, premises and estimated build date around the Corangamite area.

 

These emails and or documents would have been sent around 2nd December
2014 prior to NBN Co's release of the 18 month rollout plan.  It resulted
in the following press release by Sarah Henderson MP:

For reference, NBN Co has indicated that they did not provide this
information to Sarah Henderson MP in a QoN to Senate Estimates.’

 

The statutory period for processing your request is 30 days, which
commenced from the date it was received.

with third parties may be required. If it is necessary to seek agreement
to pay charges or to consult with third parties, additional processing
time is provided under the FOI Act. You will be advised of any charges as
well as any need to consult third parties in relation to your request.
