4. Invoices to ACON and Pride in Diversity

I refer to your email the Department of Energy and Public Works’
(Department) Right to Information (RTI) mailbox inquiring about access to
documents that may be held by the Department. Unfortunately we have no
record of receiving a compliant application for documents relating to
participation in the Pride and Diversity Australian Workplace Equality
Index scheme.
Under section 24 of the Right to Information Act 2009 (Qld) (the Act), you
are required to submit an application in an approved form accompanied by
the RTI application fee ($52.60). The application must state an address to
which notices may be sent and give sufficient information concerning the
document to enable the Department to identify any relevant documents.
I have provided some information below, however, can I please suggest that
you contact this office on (07) 3008 3117 to discuss your application.
Applying under the Act can be done in one of the following ways.
By Post:
You can apply by submitting a Right to Information and Information Privacy
Access Application form (attached). Please print out and complete the
form, and return it to this office with a cheque or money order made out
to Department of Energy and Public Works for payment of the $52.60
application fee.

Alternatively, you may wish to apply for access to the documents through
the Queensland Government’s Right to Information website
([1]www.rti.qld.gov.au) where the $52.60 application fee can be paid by
bank or credit card. Once you click the ‘Submit’ button your application
is automatically forwarded to our mailbox for processing and an
acknowledgement letter will be sent. The Department does not receive
details of your bank or credit card through the online application
process. On receipt of a compliant application, the Department will have
25 business days to make a decision.
