Onkaparinga CEO and $7000 golf course membership
Dear City of Onkaparinga,
This is a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act.
I refer to the news article, 'Onkaparinga CEO receives $7,000 for golf membership to 'foster Chinese business relations' 'which can be accessed at the following URL:
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-02-15/on...
The documents I seek are all of those which :
1. Detail the dates the CEO visited the golf course in question, and the identity of persons in attendance with the CEO. This may include, for example, diary notes of the CEO, or calendar entries.
2. Describe, for each course visit, the benefits acquired by Onkaparinga ratepayers as a result of each attendance at the golf course.
Yours faithfully,
William Shakespeare

Good morning William,
Thank you for your Freedom of Information requests to the City of
Onkaparinga via email. Please note that your applications under the
Freedom of Information Act 1991 cannot be accepted unless the following
criteria are met:
13—Applications for access to agencies' documents
An application for access to an agency's document—
(a) must be in writing; and
(b) must specify that it is made under this Act; and
(c) must be accompanied by such application fee as may be prescribed; and
(d) must contain such information as is reasonably necessary to enable the
document to be identified; and
(e) must specify an address in Australia to which notices under this Act
should be sent; and
(f) must be lodged at an office of the agency, and may request that access
to the document be given in a particular way.
In particular, clauses 13(c), 13(d) and 13(e) have not been satisfied by
your applications. In regards to 13(d), the Freedom of Information Act
allows for the release of documents held by the agency, copies of which
can be provided to an applicant after payment of the prescribed fees. The
Act does not require an agency to respond to questions or undertake
research work that may be requested by an applicant.
