Number of comments about new website
Dear Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet,
On the front page of your website it states, "PM&C has launched its new site! Tell us what you think." with a link to a contact form.
I'm looking for any document containing the number of responses you've received on this form about the new website. This could be contained in a report about the performance of the new website.
I'm not seeking the submissions themselves. The document would obviously have been created after the site launched so a search for documents can be restricted to only those created after the site launched.
Please treat this as a request for administrative access. If for
some reason the request cannot be dealt with in this way, please
treat it as a formal application under the Freedom of Information
Act.
Yours faithfully,
Henare Degan

subject to certain exceptions. If you think you might wish to raise any
objections to the publication of any of the information which may be
released to you please contact us by email at [2][DPMC request email]. If you do

Exclusion of officers’ names and contact details
It is the Department’s policy to withhold the names and contact details of
officers not in the Senior Executive Service (SES) as well as the mobile
or direct numbers of SES officers within the Department and other agencies
contained within documents that fall within scope of the request. The
names and other details of departmental or agency SES officers will not be
withheld unless there is some reason for that information to be exempt
from release. If you require the names and contact details of non-SES
officers or the mobile or direct numbers of SES officers please let us
know at [3][DPMC request email] so the decision-maker may consider; otherwise we
will take it that you agree to that information being excluded from the
scope of your request.
We will write again when the Department has more information. Further
information on FOI processing can be found at the website of the Office of
the Australian Information Commissioner at

Dear Adviser,
Thank you very much for providing the information I requested, particularly given it wasn't in a document, required by the Act.
Out of interest, can you tell me why my offer for requesting via administrative access was not taken up? It would seem to be very apt for this type request.
Yours sincerely,
Henare Degan

I found this "FOI Business Rules" document on the PM&C website recently. No pathway for administrative access there... https://www.dpmc.gov.au/sites/default/fi...

In the response the department says, "...since the launch of the Department's new website on 19 December 2014 the Department has received 49 responses through the online feedback form, as at 23 January 2015."
