Message discouraging abuse on Australia Post Telephone lines

Ben Fairless made this Freedom of Information request to Australian Postal Corporation

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear Australian Postal Corporation,

Background: When calling StarTrack or Australia Post customer service lines, an announcement is played which asks people to not engage in abuse on the basis of a range of factors.

Would you be able to provide the documents in relation to the decision to have this message installed on the Australia Post customer service lines?

I am happy for the names and direct contact details (but not positions) of individuals to be excluded as irrelevant under this request.

Please consider processing this request administratively (outside the FOI Act) if possible. If you are unable to do so, please consider it a formal FOI request.

Yours faithfully,

Ben Fairless

foi, Australian Postal Corporation
