Dear Australian Electoral Commission,

Following a phone conversation with Paul from your office, I am satisfied that there is no merit in continuing with this request. I now understand that as Nick Xenophon was a senator prior to the formation of his party, he was not required to present a list of 500 financial members to the AEC.

I am writing to withdraw my request.
