Dear FOI Person,
Request under the Freedom of Information Act 1982
In re an investigation initiated by the Department
---------------------------------------------------------------
In the recently determined Administrative Appeals Tribunal case of Kosteski and Comcare [2014] AATA 217 (http://www.austlii.edu.au/au/cases/cth/A...), Deputy President RP Handley noted at paragraph 35 that a witness gave evidence that, "towards the end of 2011, an independent officer was appointed to investigate the culture of the unit [i.e., Centrelink’s Business Integrity unit in Hurstville] and the behaviour of its staff."
I request access to:
(1) a copy of the document or documents appointing the independent officer;
(2) a copy of the document or documents to that officer requesting that they undertake the investigation that is mentioned above; and
(3) a copy of the report from that officer about the result of their investigation.
If you require any further information regarding the documents I seek, please let me know. The electronic address at righttoknow.org.au that is associated with this email is the relevant address for the purposes of section 15(2)(c) of the FOI Act.
Yours faithfully,
Mark R. Diamond

I did not, in fact, withdraw the request. I've forced system to presume that I withdrew it in order that I could avoid having to classify the request under some other irrelevant category.
The real classification is 'Deemed withdrawal' by force of section 29(1)(g) of the Freedom of Information Act.
