If you read the title of the way that I read it, you will think that some kind of illegal task force has been created by the Australian government. It is not so. The object of interest is an "illegal phoenix" (https://www.ato.gov.au/General/The-fight... ). Shortly, the explanation is that "Illegal phoenix activity is where a business liquidates assets deliberately to avoid paying creditors and other obligations and then re-starts trading as a similar entity".
So, there is a taskforce to investigate this illegal activity and the name of the taskforce is the Illegal Phoenix Taskforce. Much better than the Australian government behaving in a way that is illegal.
