GIPA Policy

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal,

I am collecting statistics around the GIPA compliance in NSW which also covers NCAT.

I would like to keep this informal request in order to save costs and to administratively explore the information I need to request beneficial for the public interests and for the sake of transparency of NCAT.

Under the Division 2 of Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 No 52 ("GIPA") NCAT is required to establish and maintain agency information guide.

I also remind that there are certain documents that must be made available free of charge and / or proactively released I believe this information falls to.

And that under the s. 8 of the GIPA, NCAT should be allowing informational process to release some documents when reasonable to do so.

I would like the copy of the agency information guide or informal acknowledgement such policy that the NCAT is required to maintain.

Or otherwise informationally please let me know if it does not exist.

Yours faithfully,

MissAnonymous
