Christopher Wilson

Dear Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade,

I am requesting a copy of the report and findings of the internal investigation of the gas explosion that accrued on the 26/April/2012 in which 2 female embassy staff where injured.

Yours faithfully,

Christopher Wilson

FOI, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade

Dear Mr Wilson,

Thank you for your e-mail below seeking access under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act) to:

'a copy of the report and findings of the internal investigation of the gas explosion that accrued on the 26/April/2012 in which 2 female embassy staff were injured.'

I would be grateful if you could clarify the scope of your request, as the annexes to the incident report comprise over 700 pages of documents. If the annexes were included within the scope of your request, this would attract a practical refusal under section 24 AA(a)(i) of the FOI Act, as processing a request of this size would require an unreasonable diversion of the Department's resources.

Yours sincerely,

Ada Cheung
