FOI Manual
Dear Department of Human Services,
I understand in a recent dealing with the OAIC, references were made to an "FOI Manual" that is used by the department.
I request a copy of the "FOI Manual" (which may be known under another name) under Part II of the Freedom of Information Act. If you are able to provide this administratively, that would be appreciated, however if you are unable to do so you should consider it as a formal FOI request.
If you aren't sure about the document I'm seeking, please don't hesitate to reach out and I can clarify.
Yours faithfully,
Ben Fairless

Good tip here: DHS are trying to pre-emptively remove staff contact information using s.22 of the FOI Act. This is something OAIC has previously told agencies not to do.
There's a discussion paper here: https://www.oaic.gov.au/engage-with-us/c...
"It has long been considered that in general, disclosure of public servants’ names in response to an FOI request would not be unreasonable. Such disclosure forms part of the system of accountability and transparency of government actions and decision making."
