First response to Snowden revelations
Dear Australian Communications and Media Authority,
I hereby request access, under the Freedom of Information Act 1982,
to:
A copy of the earliest dated Quick Assessment, Briefing or Report authored by ACMA about revelations of mass surveillance or signals interception of Australian communications, following news reports based on documents provided to journalists by NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden.
I request that all costs for all aspects of the processing of this
request be waived on the grounds that the release of this
information is in the public interest.
