There are no documents, legislation or other that is publicly available that allow a public servant or Government Agency/Department authority and right over a man or woman. Only public documents that relate to legal entities are available.

i, require a copy of documents that state/read (or similar to):

1. a Public Servant and/or Government Agency/Department has the authority and right over a man or woman;
2. a Public Servant and/or Government Agency/Department has the authority and right over the property of a man or woman;

Dear Shaun

 

Thank you for your email, which was received by the Attorney-General's
Department (the department) on 28 October 2022. In your email you have
requested:

 

 

                i, require a copy of documents that state/read (or similar
to):

 

1. a Public Servant and/or Government Agency/Department has the authority
and right over a man or woman; 2. a Public Servant and/or Government
Agency/Department has the authority and right over the property of a man
or woman;

 

i, require any documents that relate to points 1 and 2 above and the name
of the Public Servant that made said documents.

 

 

In order for the department to process your email as a valid FOI request,
we require the following information from you:

•             Please confirm in writing that your request is an
application for the purposes of the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI
Act).

 

•             Your request, as currently drafted, seeks documents,
legislation or other allow a public servant or Government
Agency/Department authority and right over a man or woman. The right of
access under the FOI Act is to existing documents, rather than a means of
having general questions answered.

 

In addition, to make a valid FOI request, you must provide sufficient
information to enable a responsible officer of the agency or the minister
to identify the document that is requested.

 

As such, for the purposes of s 15 of the FOI Act, can you please confirm
with which specific documents you are wanting to obtain.

 

Relating to your request, you may be interested to know that legislation
often refers to a 'person' or 'persons'. With reference to [1]Section 2C
of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 (Cth)    it makes clear that this
means ‘an individual’ as well as bodies politic and corporations.

 

Please note, the department is unable to take further action in response
to your email of 28 October 2022 until the additional information
requested above has been received
