Data about Disability Support Pensions and Jobseeker applications
Dear Department of Social Services,
I am interested in quarterly statistics around both Jobseeker/Newstart applications and Disability Support Pensions.
I am interested in numbers that predate the pandemic, so would like any documents or data about quarterly statistics that evidence;
- Applications per quarter from 2019 to November, 2023
- The number of applications received versus the number of applications declined for both DSP and Jobseeker
I would also like mortality statistics for people who are on Jobseeker/DSP (disaggregated data) for the same time periods.
Thank you very much.
Yours faithfully,
Rob Stewart
