Good afternoon Andrew,

We write to you regarding your FOI request 5259 for access to the
following:

A compilation of the "COVID-19 vaccination – vaccination data" (which is
available in weekly updates as separate pdfs) in spreadsheet .csv format.

The data is found on this page here
[1]https://www.health.gov.au/resources/coll...

The department has referred to the link that you have provided in the
request.

The data collection published monthly on this website is provided in
spreadsheet .xlsv format which can be converted to .csv format by removing
the usage notes in the spreadsheet and saving it as a .csv file. From here
you can compile the .csv files.

The information from this data collection is from the Australian
Immunisation Register. The Australian Immunisation Register Act 2015 (AIR
Act) contains protections and restrictions on who can access information
in the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) and for what purposes
(Section 10). Requests for the disclosure of AIR data are considered by
the AIR data steward to ensure requests for release are compliant with AIR
Act requirements and adheres to the relevant guidelines. Request for data
can be lodged through the department’s AIR data team at
[2][email address].

The AIR data team would be able to provide you with the Australian
Immunisation Register Data Request form. This form is used for requests
for AIR data that are not publicly available or available via approved
channels (i.e., AIR site reports for vaccination providers and QLIK health
data portal apps available to approved users).

Seeking agreement to withdraw

Noting the above, the department is seeking your agreement to withdraw
your request.

We would be grateful for your response by COB 15 July 2024 if you wish to:

o Withdraw your request
o Proceed with your request

You can contact the FOI team via email at [3][email address] or by phone
on 02 6289 1666, should you have any questions.

Kind regards,

Dear FOI,

Thank you for your email today.

I was hoping that the information which is already publicly available might be presented in spreadsheet format (xslx or csv is fine). The AIR form you've directed me to is "for requests for AIR data that are not publicly available or available via approved channels".
Given that these data are published on the page I originally provided (in multiple separate pdfs), I was hoping a spreadsheet used to produce these reports might be readily available.
I am not seeking patient information, just aggregated vaccine doses administered in states and territories over time.

Yours sincerely,

Andrew
