The Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) is a statutory authority that registers providers and accredits courses of study. TEQSA regulates higher using principles relating to regulatory neccessity, risk and proportionality, and using a standards based quality framework. TEQSA consists of a Chief Commissioner and four other Commissioners.
