The request is waiting for clarification. If you are MissAnonymous, please sign in to send a follow up message.

Dear Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet,

This is informal / administrative FOI request in nature -

Would you have any statistics about contractor financial expenditure from previous and current financial years and what type of aggregates and non-aggregates are available?

Is there some type of schema or any document that describes how the statistics are done for contractor expenditure e.g. vs full time employee / hiring expenditure.

I'm also interested on what time period/s are being tracked for these kind of statistics to assists on writing correct requests. Thank you!

Yours faithfully,

MissAnonymous

Dear MissAnonymous

The Department publishes some information that may be of interest to you,
however we are unsure exactly what information it is that you are looking
to access.

Published information on data related to contractors is included in our
half yearly reporting and our annual reports.

See:
[1]https://www.pmc.gov.au/about-us/accounta...

See: [2]Annual reports | PM&C (pmc.gov.au)

If you are interested in information relating to the governments use of
the Management Advisory Services Panel which provides Financial, Corporate
and Commercial services or The People Panel which provides HR services,
you may wish to re-direct your inquiry to the Department of Finance.

See:
[3]https://www.finance.gov.au/government/pr...

See:
[4]https://www.finance.gov.au/government/pr...

If you would like PM&C to continue with your informal administrative
inquiry / FOI request can you provide some further information about what
exactly you are seeking access to. For example confirm if you are asking
about labour hire contracts specifically and what are the expenditures you
are interested in. We would require a timeframe to assist with processing
such a request and recommend you consider framing it in financial years,
biannual or quarters.

I hope this information is of assistance to you. Please note the
Department has not yet registered this as a valid FOI request and will
take no further action unless we hear from you.

Yours sincerely

Janelle
