Dear Mr McLean,
I am in receipt of your Freedom of Information request received via email
from the Right to Know website on 28 November 2019.
Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Act 1882 ("Act") sets out the
procedural requirements to be satisfied for a valid request for access to
documents to exist which includes subsection 2 which states:
“Section 17(2A) - A request must be accompanied by a fee of 2 fee units";
(i.e. $29.60) Section 17(2B) - An application fee may be waived or
reduced, whether or not the fee has been paid, if the payment of the fee
would cause hardship to the applicant.”
At this stage your request is not valid as it does not comply with
subsection 2 as no fee has been paid, nor have you demonstrated that the
payment of the fee would cause you hardship.
Further information on Councils FOI process (including Councils online FOI
request form) is available on our website at

between 9:00am & 5.00pm weekdays to discuss your request.
Regards,
Christian
