Dear National Transport Commission,

I am trying to track down the previous owner of an abandoned vehicle.
Please advise the correct course of action in the disclosure of the vehicle owner details.

as I am trying to register the vehicle in my name.

Afternoon Dwaine,

The National Transport Commission is an inter-governmental agency charged with improving the productivity, safety and environmental performance of Australia’s road, rail and intermodal transport system. As an independent statutory body, the NTC develops and submits reform recommendations for approval to the Standing Council on Transport and Infrastructure (SCOTI) which comprises federal, state and territory transport, infrastructure and planning ministers.

For registration and vehicle ownership you will need to contact the road authority in your jurisdiction.
