We are not able to process your request under the FOI Act. The FOI Act allows a person to request documents. However, your request does not identify or refer to any documents. Requests for information are not covered by the FOI Act.

A valid request under the FOI Act must:

1. be in writing
2. state that it is a request for the purposes of the FOI Act
3. provide such information as is reasonably necessary to enable a responsible officer of the agency or the minister to identify the document that is requested
4. and must give details of how notices under the FOI Act may be sent to the applicant.

Even you reframe your question seeking documents, the Treasury will not hold such documents as we are not the relevant department. We provide advice to the Government and implement policies and programs to achieve strong and sustainable economic and fiscal outcomes for Australians. We anticipate and analyse policy issues with a whole-of-economy perspective, understand government and stakeholder circumstances, and respond rapidly to changing events and directions.
