Dear National Disability Insurance Agency,

I am making an application under the FOI Act.

I request
- the amount funded in levels 1, 2 & 3 of transport funding as at July 1 each year from 2014-2024
- the indexation applied to transport levels 1, 2 & 3 each year from 2014-2024 whether on July 1 or at other times of the year.
- information, policy or reports that outlines how the transport funding levels are calculated each year. I presume there must be something like the Disability Worker cost model being used or is it the CPI or another form of common use indexing?

Yours faithfully,

AS

Dear AS

Thank you for your request of 3 August 2024 made under the Freedom of
Information Act 1982 (FOI Act), for copies documents held by the National
Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA):

We seek your consent to take out middle and surnames and contact details
of NDIA staff (that is, the information will be treated as irrelevant
under section 22 of the FOI Act).  Please respond to this as we require
your agreement in writing.

Processing timeframes
A 30-day statutory period for processing your request commenced from 4
August 2024, in accordance with section 15(5)(b) of the FOI Act. Therefore
the due date for a decision on access is 2 September 2024.   As I have
only recently been allocated your matter due to a high work load currently
being experienced by the FOI Team, it is unlikely I will be able to meet
the due date.

Extension request
In order that your application does not become a deemed refusal under
section 15AC of the FOI Act, and that your internal review rights are
preserved, I am seeking your agreement to grant me a 30 day extension
under 15AA of the FOI Act. This will make the new due date 2 October 2024
(or before, if I am able).

If your application goes deemed, we are required to keep processing,
however, as noted above, you will lose your internal review rights so
please respond to this extension request ASAP or before COB 2 September
2024 as I require your agreement in writing.

Charges
We may apply a processing charge to your request and will advise you as
soon as practicable if a charge is payable.

Disclosure Log
Information release under the FOI Act may be published on the NIDA’s

If you have any concerns about the publication of information you have
requested, please contact us.
