Transfer of BP Super Fund
Dear Australian Prudential Regulation Authority,
I have an interest in the BP Superannuation Fund.
This Fund was transferred to the Plum Superannuation Fund.
Can APRA please provide me with a copy of the "approved form" that was used to obtain APRA's approval for the transfer to proceed.
Any commercially sensitive material can be redacted from the document released by APRA
Yours faithfully,
Julie Simpson

Dear Australian Prudential Regulation Authority,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Australian Prudential Regulation Authority's handling of my FOI request 'Transfer of BP Super Fund'.
I believe there may have been a contravention of Section 145 of the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act 1993 by the trustees involved in the transfer of members from the BP Super Fund.
It is a statutory requirement to lodge an "approved form" if members are to be transferred from one fund to another, so APRA must have possession of the requested document, otherwise there have been a contravention of Section 145 of the Act.
Members of the fund would have no protection otherwise as they are unable to prevent the transfer of their membership and associated rights and benefit entitlement.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/t...
Yours faithfully,
Julie Simpson
