Dear FOI,

I would like to make a follow-up FOI to this request. Please feel free to combine the requests.

I request a purchase order document from Hays that has been completed, in relation to a labour hire staffer who filled a role at an APS4 classification or below. Please include alongside that purchase order document, the actual amount spent by the AAT on that procurement.

The purpose of this request is to ascertain the dollar amount by which purchase orders from Hays are being underutilized. (or if the contracts are being fully utilized; evidence of that being the case)

Yours sincerely,

John Smith

Dear Mr Smith,

Dear FOI,

I contend that:

1. This charge has been wrongly assessed, as there has been an overestimation in the time it would take to complete tasks associated with this FOI request.

2. That this charge should not be imposed, or should be nearly entirely waived; on public interest grounds. The public service's outsourcing practices are in the public interest. This is demonstrated by the practices detailed within the request documents; being the subject of a recent ABC article reporting on the APS's labour hire outsourcing.
