Seeking Family Members Still Living
Dear Mildura Cemetery Trust,
I am desperately trying to contact family members with-in Mildura and nearby to inform of deaths of their family members, yet sadly, this is the only option I have found to access any, if at all, information.
My Uncle's name was Walter (Wal) Scott who's wife was Gloria Scott nee Stanford.
Their children were Donald? Graeme and Marlene.
I hope that you are able to assist with this predicament I have found myself in as I have exhausted every avenue I can think of, Facebook, Google etc. to no avail.
I await you hopeful positive response.
Kindest Regards,
Mrs Sue-anne Lanning-Pavey
Hi Sue-anne,
Thanks for your query. Both Walter and Gloria have passed away and are
interred at our Nichols Point Cemetery. Attached is an old photo of their
monument, prior to the inscription for Gloria being added. I have been in
touch with their daughter – Marlene, to seek her permission to provide you
with her contact information. Marlene requested that I not pass on her
details. Unfortunately I do not have any of her siblings contact
details. Apparently they all reside elsewhere.
With Regards,

Dear Kellie Ricardi,
I am most grateful for the response you sent and am happy to know where my Aunt and Uncle are interred, Thank you so much, Kellie.
I am saddened to hear my cousin Marlene does not wish to speak with me, but, if at all possible, are you morally permitted to inform her of the deaths of my mother Betty Margaret Medcalf, (her Aunt) died 2017; and her cousins, my brothers Lee Norman Stanford and Michael John Stanford both of whom died this year?
My intention is purely for information to family and hope that Marlene and her family are doing well during these most trying times.
If this can be achieved, I will be again most grateful and will not attempt any further contact with Marlene and family.
I will have fulfilled my mother's wishes as Marlene used to keep in touch with her regarding family trees etc.
Yours sincerely,
Sue-anne Lanning-Pavey
Hi Sue-anne,
My condolences on the recent passing of your two brothers.
I have called Marlene again and advised what your intention for the
contact was.
