Glenn Hamiltonshire

Dear Royal Australian Navy Relief Trust Fund,

This is a Freedom of Information Request for the purposes of the Freedom of Information Act 1982.

I request access to the Style Guides/Brand Guides/Writing Guides currently used for the Royal Australian Navy Relief Trust Fund,

Given the upcoming holiday period for the APS (happy holidays to you reading this), I forecast my consent for any required 30 day extension to deal with the request at this time.

Yours faithfully,

Glenn Hamiltonshire

FOI, Royal Australian Navy Relief Trust Fund

Dear Glenn,

I refer to your request for access to documents relating to “access to the Style Guides/Brand Guides/Writing Guides currently used for the Royal Australian Navy Relief Trust Fund” under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act).

I am writing to tell you that I have transferred your request to the Royal Australian Navy Relief Trust Fund.

Under section 16(1) of the FOI Act, an Agency is able to transfer a request if the requested document is not in the Agency's possession but in the possession of another agency or if the subject matter of the document is more closely connected with the functions of another agency.

Accordingly, on 26 November 2024 your request which relates to “access to the Style Guides/Brand Guides/Writing Guides currently used for the Royal Australian Navy Relief Trust Fund” was transferred to the Royal Australian Navy Relief Trust Fund whose functions are more closely connected to the subject area.

The Royal Australian Navy Relief Trust Fund will continue to process your request.

We received your request on 26 November 2024 and the 30 day statutory period for processing your request commenced from the day after that date. The Royal Australian Navy Relief Trust Fund will treat your request as though it received it the same day that we did. You should therefore expect a decision from The Royal Australian Navy Relief Trust Fund by 27 of December. The period of 30 days may be extended if the Royal Australian Navy Relief Trust Fund needs to consult third parties or for other reasons. They will advise you if this happens.

Yours sincerely
