Policy and/or procedures for the reporting of climate change
Dear Australian Broadcasting Corporation,
I would lie to know what policies and/or procedures that are used when assessing climate change-related reports, interviews and opinions on ABC programs and activties - be they on television, radio, print or online.
In particular I am interested to understnd if such policies and/or procedures provide guidance to management, editors, researchers, journalists and other ABC employees about how to manage the issue of false eqivalence. An example of such an approach is one adopted by the LA Times recently (http://www.latimes.com/opinion/letters/l...).
Yours faithfully,
Nikos Thomacos
