Well this feels dodgy - all that Deakin University needed to do was correspond via the email address provided by Right to Know, however they have demanded the email address of the person making the request, with what appears to be an intention to hide the email.
I would encourage you to tell them to just reply to the email that you're sending via Right to Know.
