NSW District Court judge Wass complaint by Chief Prosecutor

Currently waiting for a response from NSW Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, they should respond promptly and normally no later than (details).

Dear NSW Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions,

I believe there is a reason to deal with this information informationally given the overriding public interest surrounding this case.

It is widely - but selectively - published in the media that there is "a formal complaint" re: alleged conduct of the District Court Wass that lacks the necessary detail and that is not published but yet talked in the media.

Given the ramifications of publishing adverse incomplete information about a judge on the case, both the DPP and DCJ has effectively published this complaint already during ongoing case.

The public deserves to know the full details of this formal complaint and not vague soundbites mainly drummed up via the tabloid media as of now.

In order to save costs and as the matter of public interest I would like DPP to front up the formal complaint that has been widely otherwise published - to publish the entire full complaint for fact checking.

I have also asked similar information re: the complaint that has been made by the judge from the Department of Justice.

Yours faithfully,
