NESARA and U.S. acts and regulations apply to the NSW Treasury Corporation

Waiting for an internal review by NSW Treasury Corporation of their handling of this request.

Dear NSW Treasury Corporation,

It has come to my attention, that a number of countries are transitioning to the principles of NESARA (S.2757 - National Economic Security Strategy Act of 2018).

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth), I am contacting you to request access to information regarding the NSW Treasury Corporation’s stance and activities related to the National Economic Security and Reformation Act (NESARA) and the Global Economic Security and Reformation Act (GESARA). Specifically, I am seeking documents or emails which answer the following questions:

1. Whether the NSW Treasury Corporation has considered or undertaken any activities related to transitioning to the principles of NESARA or GESARA?

2. If such a transition is being considered, what is the expected timeline for this transition?

3. When does the NSW Treasury Corporation plan to make any public announcements regarding this transition?

Additionally, given that the NSW Treasury Corporation is registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), I would like to know how the following U.S. acts and regulations apply to the NSW Treasury Corporation:

1. Securities Act of 1933
2. Securities Exchange Act of 1934
3. Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002
4. Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA)
5. Holding Foreign Companies Accountable Act (HFCAA)
6. S.2757 - National Economic Security Strategy Act of 2018.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.

Yours sincerely,

Deborah-May

Dear NSW Treasury Corporation,

I am requesting an internal review pertaining to my initial request concerning NESARA and U.S. acts and regulations that apply to the NSW Treasury Corporation, due to it being registered with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.

Yours faithfully,

I am unsure if NSW Treasury will consider your request for information as state governments are not bound by the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth).

The NSW Freedom of Information laws are governed by the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act). This Act requires a $30 application fee.

It is unlikely they will conduct an internal review as no valid application has been made.

Best of luck

As I have been informed that States are not bound by the FOI Act. I will now be requesting this information via Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act) and pay the $30.00 fee associated with the request.
