NDIA Assessment Pilot - Performance Metrics
Dear National Disability Insurance Agency,
May I request a copy of the Performance Metrics and performance for each organisation currently participating in the NDIA Assessment Pilot?
I assume this would include things including but not limited to participant satisfaction, compliance metrics, and information on retention rates for the pilot.
If you can provide this information on a month-to-month basis for each partner organisation that would be appreciated.
Please consider this request under administrative access. If it cannot be treated as an administrative access request, please consider it a formal FOI request.
Yours faithfully,
Ben Fairless
Thank you for contacting the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).

Extension of time application by the National Disability Insurance Agency
Dear Mr Fairless
I write to advise that on 12 May 2021, the Office of the Australian
Information Commissioner (the OAIC) received an application from the
National Disability Insurance Agency (the NDIA) for an extension of time,
to process your FOI request.
The NDIA has applied for an extension of time under s 15AB of the Freedom
of Information Act 1982 (Cth) because your request is considered to be
complex.
The NDIA has advised the OAIC that:
· On 14 April 2021, the NDIA received your FOI request.
· The NDIA advise that recently a large number of FOI requests
were received within a short period of time.
· The NDIA advises that initial consultations with relevant
business areas have been completed.
· The NDIA considers your request to be highly sensitive and
complex in nature as additional consultation with several business areas
including internal staff is required.
· The NDIA was due to provide you with a decision on your FOI
request on 14 May 2021.
· The NDIA has advised that due to staff engagement involving
additional senate estimates and multiple Committee hearings, this impacted
the NDIA’s ability to conduct FOI consultations and searches.
· A further complexity involved the major structural changes with
key staff to address and resolve the staffing shortage due to the
significantly increased workload.
· An extension to 13 June 2021, will provide the NDIA additional
time to engage with relevant business areas and staff to finalise the
additional searches, allow reasonable time to consult with the Minister’s
Office and finalise the decision.
The NDIA has requested an extension of 30 days to 13 June 2021. I will
take any comments you may have to make into account when deciding the
application.
Please respond to this email by close of business 19 May 2021.If I do not
hear from you by this date, the decision maker will make a decision on the
basis of the information provided to me by the NDIA.
You will be notified of the decision once the matter has been finalised.
Further information about extension of time requests may be found on our
website at [2]Extensions of time.

Dear Ben Fairless
Thank you for your correspondence in relation to FOI 20/21-0643.
In your email, you have requested a list of relevant documents that fall
within the scope of your request as part of the formal consultation under
section 24AB.
As noted in our correspondence of 4 June 2021, searches have returned more
than 235 individual documents (excluding attachments to those documents),
which may fall within scope of your request for information.
In order to provide you with an accurate list of documents that may be
relevant, we would need to inspect all pages of each individual document
to identify whether it falls in scope. As previously identified, the work
involved in creating this list would be an unreasonable diversion of
resources.
We are happy to continue working with you to assist in identifying a
reasonable scope. Under the FOI Act you can also choose to indicate that
you do not wish to revise the request, or withdraw the request.
In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact [1][NDIA request email] if
you have any questions, or require help.
Kind regards
