For clarification, I am seeking information regarding the specific cables running between the node and the homes it "services" on Grieve Road.

1. when does NBNco consider the cables to be at the end if their service life.
2. Is there currently a plan to replace these cables or a projection for when this might be necessary.
3. If there is not a plan to replace these cables, is there a maintenance or refurbishment plan.

Further clarification is required as there are a number of potential
nodes. Could you please clarify the street address serviced by the node
in question. This will enable nbn staff to locate the relevant

Dear Rohan,
I am seeking information not just for myself by several of my neighbours. We are a located between 269 and 400 Grieve Rd Rochedale. Approximately 400m from the Telstra/Optus/Vodaphone shared 4G/5G Tower and Optus Satellite Ground Station site (228 Grieve Rd) which according to Before You Dig Australia (BYDA) is serviced by multiple fibre connections including PIPE and Telstra.
We are keen to understand the state of repair of our flimsy copper wires and related infrastructure whilst we are neighbours with a large telecommunications site serviced by enough cable to service a small country.

Noted that the relevant location is between 269 and 400 Grieve Rd
Rochedale. The information you refer to is “the state of repair of our
flimsy copper wires and related infrastructure”. Could you please clarify
what you mean by “related infrastructure”. As you can imagine, in a
telecommunications network, “related infrastructure” is a relative term
and could encompass a very broad range of things or sections of the
network at various stages from the copper cables in question. Are you
simply after the infrastructure that carries the copper cables from the
relevant node(s) such as conduits? Or are you requesting documentation
about the state of repair of other parts of the network, and if so, which
parts?
Please note that the condition of nbn’s network infrastructure relates to
nbn’s commercial activities and is likely carved-out of the operation of
the FOI Act.
Please also note that processing of your application cannot commence until
you clarify the above issue.
