Good Morning,
Thank you for your inquiry.
Are you requiring a submission under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 as this is for Commonwealth agencies or do you require and submission under the Right to Information Act 2009?
If you require a RTI submission you will need to submit a valid RTI application to obtain the information you are requesting.
Our RTI Team services multiple departments and agencies which include; Departments of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF), Environment, Science and Innovation (DESI), Resources, Regional Development, Manufacturing and Water (RDMW), Resources Safety and Health Queensland (RSHQ) and Employment, Small Business and Training (DESBT)
To assist with your potential RTI application, I have attached the general information sheet which explains the whole Right to Information (RTI) process.
Please find enclosed a link which will allow you to complete a Right to Information (RTI) application form online: https://www.smartservice.qld.gov.au/serv... .
Alternatively, please complete the attached application form and email it back to [DESI request email]
If you would prefer to post it back then the RTI Services mailing address is;
RTI Services
GPO Box 2454
Brisbane QLD 4001
The RTI application fee is currently $55.75
Once your application is received, it is assigned to a case manager and they will be in contact in the near future.
The Right to information Act 2009 (RTI Act) has a pro-disclosure bias, however access may be refused if the information is considered exempt or contrary to the public interest.
A decision notice will be issued at the end of the application process stage which will include a statement of reasons (which will clearly set out the decision maker’s reasons for refusing access to any information) and advice about review rights.
If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact me on the details below.
Kind Regards,
Jo Kerr
