Dear Australian Broadcasting Corporation,

The ABC recently announced plans to introduce mandatory logons for its iView video streaming platform.

The Privacy (Australian Government Agencies – Governance) APP Code 2017 requires Australian Government agencies subject to the Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act) to conduct a privacy impact assessment for all ‘high privacy risk projects’. The ABC is bound by the Privacy Act.

I wish to request, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act 1982, a copy of the Privacy Impact Assessment for the ABC's planned implementation of mandatory logons for the iVIew platform.
