Dear Department of Health,
under the Freedom of Information Act 1982
I Am Requesting An Analytical Report On COVID‑19 Showing the Number Of Cases and Deceased In Australia.

If you have the global statistics and it would not delay the presenting of first request , it would be much appreciated if you could please supply the second mentioned document, only if it would not cause undue delay.

The requests doesn't not require the inclusion of any personal information.
what I would like it to include is;

Age, gender, condition at time of infection, previous recorded illness, nationality.

Please do not direct me to a website to download this information.
I want the documents from a reliable sources, this is why i'making the request to the department of health

I understand that it is very busy at the moment , but at the same time it's not a difficult request, and the fee's should be waived for the same reason.

Dear Steven,

I am writing to notify you that the Department of Health (department) has

Request for extension of time

 

The department is actively processing your request and is aiming to
finalise it as quickly as possible. However, the department is currently
experiencing an increased workload to manage and respond to the
coronavirus pandemic, with a large amount of resources being diverted to
do so. The content of your request means that any documents that exist
would sit with the line area who has responsibility for the department’s
continued response to the coronavirus.

 

On this basis, the department is seeking an extension of 30 calendar days,
with a decision to be provided to you no later than COB 25 May 2020.

 

Next Steps

 

Could you please advise the department by COB Monday, 30 March 2020 if
you agree to the request for extension of time?

It appears that on 20 April 2020, the OAIC granted an extension of time to
the Department of Health (the Department) to process your FOI request
until 25 May 2020 (attached; OAIC reference: RQ20/01444).

 

If you did not received a decision from the Department by 25 May 2020, it
is open to you to seek Information Commissioner review (IC review) of a
