How can i find out who made a compalint against me ?
Dear Brisbane City Council,
I am emailing to enquire as to whom made a request to your BCC complaints department in regards to my Skip bin been outside my home on the nature strip?
How can I retrieve this information ?
Yours faithfully,

Dear "D",
Unfortunately I am unable to disclose to you who contacted Council about your skip bin being on the nature strip. You can lodge a Right to Information/Information Privacy application to seek access to documents concerning the nature of the complaint and Council's subsequent actions, however the complainant's identifying details will be redacted from any documents released to you. Please find enclosed a useful information sheet from the Office of the Information Commissioner which deals with applying for documents about complaints.
The access application form can be downloaded from the following page on Council's website:
https://www.brisbane.qld.gov.au/about-co...

Dear BrisbaneRTI,
So what your saying is there is no way whatsoever to get the information of the reporter
I find this hard to believe, surely there must be an avenue a person that has had a complaint against them can go down to find out who lodged the complaint ?
Yours sincerely,
D
