I am writing to advise you that I don't think that FOI is the best way for you to get the information you need as you appear to be seeking advice, rather than access to documents. Additionally, I do not consider that your email constitutes a valid Freedom of Information (FOI) request for the purposes of the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act). Specifically, I do not consider that your request provides enough information to enable me to identify documents you are seeking access to (and so is not a valid FOI request under section 15(2) of the FOI Act).

The FOI Act is not intended as an avenue for seeking legal advice on specific issues. If you require advice on specific issues, you may wish to consult with a lawyer or tax agent.
