Further breakdown of 905 NSW projects with value $352 billion

Andrew C made this Government Information (Public Access) request to Infrastructure New South Wales

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Infrastructure New South Wales should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Infrastructure New South Wales,

In your annual report 2020-21 (page 8, infographic and text) you quote 905 projects with value $352 billion.

Under the FOI Act I seek a breakdown for the $352 billion by relevant general government agency and public non-financial corporation (PNFC).

If the above is not possible due to any reason, under the FOI Act I seek a breakdown into the following common capital spending clusters:
* Transport and Infrastructure (1. road; 2. rail; 3. other)
* Health
* Education and Skills
* Planning and Environment
* Stronger Communities
* Enterprise, Investment and Trade
* Treasury
* Customer Service
* Regional NSW
* Other

Yours faithfully,

Andrew C

Hello Andrew
Thank you for your email.
On behalf of Infrastructure NSW, please accept my apologies.
For some unknown reason, an administrative error occurred and your email
attaching the completed access application form dated 31 October 2022 and
the record of payment of the same date, was not picked up by those who
monitor our right to information mailbox.
I sincerely regret this has happened.
Infrastructure NSW will commence processing your access application now.
Your application is in the following terms:
Please note that under the NSW Government Information (Public Access) Act
2009, Infrastructure NSW is not obliged to create schedules or tables
containing information, as you are seeking.  Infrastructure NSW is
obliged, subject to all requirements of the legislation, to provide access
to information that it already holds.
I interpret your access application as a request for further detailed
information about the 905 projects reviewed by Infrastructure NSW as at 30
June 2021 as part of its assurance functions, as set out in the following
extract from the 2020-21 Annual Report:
Searches will now commence to see what information is currently held by
Infrastructure NSW in relation to those 905 projects that contains project
titles, descriptions, values and project types.
As the information you are seeking relates to other government agencies,
Infrastructure NSW will be required to undertake third party consultation
with those agencies.  Under the NSW legislation, an additional 10 working
days apply to your access application, in addition to the 20 working days
for general processing.
Infrastructure NSW will be not be able to respond to your access
application within 30 working days. Acknowledging that it was received on
31 October 2022, searches will only commence today for information held
that responds to your access application. Our agency closes down between
24 December 2022 and 6 January 2022 inclusive, which is the Christmas
shutdown period in NSW.
I request that you consent to Infrastructure NSW finalising the
determination of your access application by 16 January 2023.
Once I have further information about the size and complexity of
information responding to your access application, I will be in touch
again if processing charges will need to be paid.  Please see the fact
sheet from the NSW Information and Privacy Commission about GIPA Act fees
