Fraudulent Transaction.
Dear NSW Police Force,
If my mastercard details are stolen and the party then pays their bills sent to them in the
mail by writing my card number on bill, writing my name as the card holder and then signing in space where signature of card holder is required (when they have NEVER been
a signature on the account nor anything to do with the account) and write theirfone number in space for fone number of card holder (which they disconnect fone 1 week later)
is this Fraud?
Is a defence that they were given permission by me a defence even though banking laws
and regulations clearly specify you must be a signature of the account.
I await your response and appreciate your time.
Yours faithfully,
Peter W.
