FOI charges calculator

Patrick Conheady made this Freedom of Information request to Department of Home Affairs

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Patrick Conheady

Dear Department of Immigration and Border Protection,

In a letter to an FOI applicant dated 19 May 2016, published on the Right to Know website (https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/1...), the Department refers to 'the standard FOI charges calculator'.

Please provide that calculator.

As far as possible, the calculator should be provided in its original form.

If the calculator is a compiled program, this request should be taken to include both the source and compiled forms of the program.

Please consider this a request for administrative access or, if that is not possible, a formal FOI request. I note that the contents of the calculator is probably operational information which should already be published on your website (but I can't find it).

Yours faithfully,

Patrick Conheady

Dear Janelle,

I apologise for my delay in replying.

I am seeking a copy of the specific calculator used in the cited FOI request, not general information about FOI charges.

Yours sincerely,

Patrick Conheady

Patrick Conheady

Dear Janelle,

I have not received any acknowledgement of my email dated 14 June 2016, in which I pointed out your error in interpreting my FOI request dated 3 June 2016.

Could you please let me know the agency's reference number for this request and when the agency expects to respond?

I would be happy to grant an extension of seven days, if requested, on the basis that I took six days to correct your error. However, apart from that, I am expecting a response within 30 days of my original request, i.e. 4 July 2016.

Yours sincerely,

Patrick Conheady
