ESC Legislation
Dear Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads,
Please supply the facts and test from the Department of Transport that ESC (Electronic Stability Control) is affected or affects vehicles raised or by adding larger tyres ro body blocks.
Can DOT please supply how they conducted testing to allow this "law" to stand or be passed in government?
How does this bind with our Australian Constitution does it have a proclamation stamp and is it a lawful or a corporate SEC (US Security and Exchange Commission) made up one to gather revenue for the government of QLD when other states (W.A, N.S.W and VIC) are all passing vehicles well outside the QCOP and NCOP of 150mm. Some bing lifted up to 10" and safer than a stock ranger!
Yours faithfully,
John
Good afternoon John,
Thank you for your enquiry to the Department of Transport and Main Roads
(the department) about Electronic Stability Control (ESC). The Customer
Services, Safety and Regulation Division (Land Transport, Safety and
Regulation Branch) of the department will be able to answer your questions
about ESC in the first instance. Please direct your enquiry to
[1][email address].
If you wish to apply for access to documents that may be held by the
department, you can make an application under the Right to Information
legislation in Queensland, the Right to Information Act 2009 (Qld) (the
RTI Act). You can apply and pay online (or download a form) at
[2]https://www.smartservice.qld.gov.au/serv....
The application fee is $50.80.
Whilst the RTI Act is intended to provide a right of access to information
held by government, this right of access is subject to the grounds for
refusal which include public interest considerations. What this means is
that whilst the department meets the object of the RTI Act and provides
access to information/documents wherever possible, it does not guarantee
access to all or any parts of the relevant documents. Please bear in mind
that if you are requesting access to documents that contain information
relating to a third party, access may not be granted. In situations where
the proposed release of the requested documents would be considered to be
of concern to another person or entity, consultation with that person
would be required under the RTI Act. Where an application will take more
than five hours to finalise, processing charges are applicable at the
current rate of $7.85 per 15 minutes. Please note that the department will
correspond with you with an estimate of any applicable charges before
finalising your application.
Further general information about Right to Information is available on the
department's website

Queensland government website

No I do not have to pay any fees under the Constitution as you are a FOREIGN entity trading in Australia.
