EFA Freedom Of Information,

Dear Mr Hamiltonshire,

Your Freedom of Information Request dated 2 December 2024

I refer to your email of 2 December 2024 seeking access under the Freedom
of Information Act 1982 (the FOI Act) to the Style Guides, Brand Guides
and Writing Guides currently used by Export Finance Australia (EFA).

Timeframe for receiving your decision

The statutory timeframe for processing a request is 30 calendar days from
the date upon which your application was received by EFA. We note that 30
days from Monday 2 December 2024 falls within the upcoming holiday period
on Wednesday 1 January 2025. We request an additional 30 days to deal with
this request and take your consent to do so based on the wording of your
email below. We will notify the Office of the Australian Information
Commissioner (OAIC) that the timeframe for dealing with this FOI request
has been extended to Friday 31 January 2025 by mutual agreement.

Charges

EFA will not apply a charge to process your request.

Exclusion of officials’ names and contact details

EFA’s practice is to withhold the mobile numbers of all government
officials, and the names and contact details of government officials not
in Senior Executive Service (SES) equivalent roles.  If you require the
mobile numbers of all government officials, or the names and contact
details of non-SES officials, please let us know as soon as possible at
[1][email address] so the decision-maker may consider; otherwise
we will take it that you agree to that information being excluded from the
scope of your request.

Consultation with third parties

EFA may be required under the FOI Act to consult other parties (third
parties) where information relating to third parties arises in documents
sought by your request.  You will be advised as soon as possible of any
requirement to consult with a third party.

If you require clarification of any of the matters outlined in this email,
or if you have any queries throughout the process, please contact
[2][email address].

Yours sincerely
