[1] Any minute, briefing paper or similar prepared for the Minister for Tertiary Education relating to the imposition of efficiency dividends on tertiary education providers;

[2] Any minute, briefing paper or similar prepared for the Minister for Tertiary Education relating to changing the student start-up scholarships to require them to be repaid.

[3] Any and all correspondence to the Minister and/or his advisors relating to points 1 and 2.

I refer to your correspondence (attached) in which you requested access to
the following documents under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI
Act):

"[1] Any minute, briefing paper or similar prepared for the Minister

     for Tertiary Education relating to the imposition of efficiency

     dividends on tertiary education providers;

    

     [2] Any minute, briefing paper or similar prepared for the Minister

     for Tertiary Education relating to changing the student start-up

     scholarships to require them to be repaid.

    

     [3] Any and all correspondence to the Minister and/or his advisors

     relating to points 1 and 2."

Your request will be processed in accordance with the FOI Act.

 

The 30 day statutory timeframe for processing your request commenced on 14
April 2013, being the day after the Department received your request. You
will be notified of any charges relating to your request, or of a decision
on access, as soon as practicable.

On 13 May 2013, a notice of intention to refuse on practical refusal
grounds was sent to you. You were provided an opportunity to withdraw your
request or revise the scope of your request so that practical refusal
grounds would no longer exist. The notice required a response from you
within 14 days otherwise your request would be deemed withdrawn.

 

The 14 day notification period expired on 27 May 2013 and the department
did not receive any correspondence from you.  Therefore we now consider
your request withdrawn.
