Delegation Schedule - FOI
Dear Department of Human Services,
I would like a copy of the most current document issued by the principal officer of the Department which details who is authorised under s.23(1) of the Freedom of Information Act to make decisions under that Act.
Where this document contains the personal information of Deparmental employees (such as their name) I would contend that the release of that information is in the public interest. It would inform the community of the Department's operations, including, in particular, at what level FOI decisions are made within the Department, and the employees responsible for those decisons. I note that each delegate is responsible for their own decisions, and the department does not currently tell applicants who is making decisions about their FOI requests.
Please note, the above is a summary of my contention and I reserve the right to make further contentions should it be required.
Please treat this as a request for Administative access. If this request cannot be treated in this way, please consider it a formal FOI request.
Yours faithfully,
Ben Fairless

Dear FOI.LEGAL.TEAM,
Thanks for getting back to me and for the document. Can you provide the document which clarifies what Schedule G and Schedule D mean (I'm assuming this is the relevant Secretary Management Directions)
Yours sincerely,
