Dear Mr Pentland

The current due date for a decision on your request is 14 April 2023. 
Processing of your request continues, unfortunately the Prime Minister’s
Office is not currently in a position to finalise the decision by this
date. 

Accordingly, we are seeking your agreement under section 15AA of the FOI
Act to extend the processing period by 14 days.  This will ensure
sufficient time to finalise a decision on access.  This additional time
would extend the due date for a decision on your request to Friday 28
April 2023.   We will endeavour to notify you of the decision prior to
this extended date if possible.

If you agree to this request for an extension of time, we ask that you
confirm this in writing via return email by Wednesday 12 April 2023.

Dear Mr Pentland

Thank you for your agreement to extend the processing time for your FOI
request which now puts the due date as 28 April 2023, processing of your
request continues. Additional time is required, as unfortunately the Prime
Minister’s Office is not in a position to finalise the decision by this
date.

this extension is under section 15AA of the FOI Act. As a result the

Dear Mr Pentland

Freedom of Information Act 1982 (the Act) to the Prime Minister’s Office
(the Office) covers information which concerns the personal and
professional affairs of a third party and the Office is required to

Processing period extended
