I note comments made by former Prime Minister Paul Keating today regarding his attempts to reach out and discuss the AUKUS arrangement with the Prime Minister on the 21st of February.
With that note, I request access to the following:
(1) Any correspondence directed to the Prime Minister from Former Prime Minister Paul Keating from 1 January 2023 until now.
(2) Any briefings or documents given to the Prime Minister relating to Keating's alleged correspondence
(3) Talking Points provided to the Prime Minister referencing Paul Keating's comments regarding AUKUS dated from 1 January 2023 onwards

The current due date for a decision on your request is 14 April 2023.
Processing of your request continues, unfortunately the Prime Minister’s
Office is not currently in a position to finalise the decision by this
date.
Accordingly, we are seeking your agreement under section 15AA of the FOI
Act to extend the processing period by 14 days. This will ensure
sufficient time to finalise a decision on access. This additional time
would extend the due date for a decision on your request to Friday 28

Dear Mr Pentland
Thank you for your agreement to extend the processing time for your FOI
request which now puts the due date as 28 April 2023, processing of your
request continues. Additional time is required, as unfortunately the Prime

(the Office) covers information which concerns the personal and
