Copy of Pedestrian FOI request

Posty made this Freedom of Information request to Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet,

The article posted by Cam Tyeson from pedestrian.tv in 2019 titled:

"Engadine Maccas Now Has A Plaque To Commemorate Scott Morrison’s Doo Doo Ass"

https://www.pedestrian.tv/news/engadine-...

features the assertion:

"A previous Freedom Of Information Act request made by PEDESTRIAN.TV aimed at investigating just how deep the Engadine Maccas scandal has been discussed in Canberra returned a curious zero items of interest, which – if you ask us – absolutely pongs of a cover-up."

Attempts have been made to get a copy of this FOI request from the media outlet, but thus far have been not fruitful.

It does not state which department was asked, but the DPMC seems the most logical.

I request, under the Freedom of Information Act 1982, copies of the following documents:

A) a copy of Cam Tyesons or other pedestrian.tv journalist request and resulting decision that confirmed zero documents returned that relates to this article.

B) a time update to that original pedestrian.tv request of the documents timeframe to encompass any new documents - ie dated now now of the exact wording of the original pedestrian.tv request.

Yours faithfully,

Posty

Dear Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet,

I have yet to receive an acknowledgement of this request.

I have been monitoring your other public workload, and even the guy who asked for "The Governments communications relating to the New World Order implementation." recieved a response within 10 days.

https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/t...

My request is considerably more reasonable and easier to find, as it relates to documents that have already been ruled upon.

I fear that you have misplaced this request, funnily enough, in exactly the same way you "misplaced" the last one, that I had to get the Office of the Information Commissioner in on so that you could ACTUALLY REPLY like you LEGALLY ENCOURAGED TO DO.

If you do not reply with an acknowledgement by the timeframe, I will be forced to take it as a refusal from the prime minister directly as per the FOI act and have to get the OAIC involved AGAIN.

remember that?
