Copy of all templates used by the FOI team at Dept. of Veterans Affairs.
Dear Department of Veterans' Affairs,
I request a copy of all templates used by the FOI team at Dept. of Veterans Affairs.
In case there is any doubt, this includes documents where FOI officers regularly copy and paste the content from the document into correspondence sent to FOI applicants. It also includes a blank copy of any documents which are routinely sent to line areas within DVA.
Yours faithfully,
Arthur Jordan

Dear Department of Veterans' Affairs,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Department of Veterans' Affairs's handling of my FOI request 'Copy of all templates used by the FOI team at Dept. of Veterans Affairs.'.
I do not understand how you can justify S.22, S.47E(c) and 47E(d) redactions, particularly on any Blank templates. To redact initials of an unknown Staff member is pedantic and not in the spirit of the FOI legislation and/or governing Case-law.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/c...
Yours faithfully,
Arthur Jordan

Hi Jordan,
I think you are correct, as the initials of a person on there own would not be sufficient to met the threshold of personal information, as they could not reasonably identify anyone.
This is especially the case when Veterans does not publish the last name of junior staff in foi releases.
Veterans always makes untenable arbitrary claims like this.
